It is scientifically proven that gratitude is not just a matter of good manners, studies have shown that it is good for you too. Seven benefits of being grateful are, it opens the door to more relationships, it improves physical health, improves psychological health, enhances empathy and reduces aggression, grateful people sleep better, gratitude improves self-esteem and increases mental health.
But being grateful can be more than a positive mindset, when we have a focus for that gratitude, someone to thank, then that constitutes a relationship and our soul knowing that we are loved and cared for.
